As PBICT we felt that the SITA RFB 1633-2017 tender briefing was more favourable to Gauteng companies as such a Tender and it's National agenda requires SITA to have a more National approach to allow more Black SMME to attend. Hosting this briefing at the SITA Headquarters only, was a direct discrimination to Black SMMEs in other provinces. The NEC of PBICT communicated the disgruntling nature of this tender briefing via e-mail directly to the CEO of SITA Dr S Mohapi. We really hope that our e-mail made the necessary impact and influenced the decision for this briefing to be postponed to a later date and hopefully the future briefing will be at SITA offices all over the country. PBICT will follow up with all the necessary information to ensure that this process is fair and will accommodate Black SMMES all over the country.
